I managed to get on ‘AllMacWorld’ but their downloads didn’t seem to work. I tried putting Google ‘Chrome’ on the Macbook as I noticed using Safari I would get messages about ‘the time and date is wrong’ message (which they weren’t) and hence unable to contact server. I can’t create a new apple id and when I click on ‘Update software’, I get the ‘Unable to connect to the App Store’ message. I’ve just bought a used mid2012 MacBook Pro with 16Gb RAM and 250Gb SSD. Firefox, Chrome and Safari don't seems to want to support 10.5.8.
